- Hardware information: Basic details of your computer to create a unique signature upon login. For subsequent logins, we compare the device to validate access on authorized computers.
- Steam executables and logs: We verify if the Steam installation is official and receive notifications when compatible games are launched.
- Public Steam ID: We confirm your identity to maintain consistent access.
- Mod files: We validate the integrity of mods in standard folders or user-configured locations during download, processing, update, or game launch.
- ModFy installation folders: We access Program Files/ModFy and %AppData%/ModFy to read executables, configurations, and cache.
- Public game files: Used to validate the installation and establish connection via DLL.
- Windows settings: Checked to ensure the operating system supports proper application execution.
- Basic telemetry: We indicate if the game is running and if ModFy is authenticated. This data appears in graphs for Modder partners, always in compliance with LGPD and without any personal information.
These practices maintain system integrity and prevent account sharing.
You can validate this behavior with any monitoring software or antivirus. Reverse engineering applications are detected and may result in account limitations, according to our Terms of Use.
